Kilittaşı, founded in 2008, is a research-oriented company, following the latest technological trends and academic developments. We provide design and consultancy services in the area of civil and environmental engineering. Being open to new trends in technology, we are dedicated to producing engineering solutions to unique and specialized projects. As a young company, Kilittaşı is dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible and responsive.

Recognizing that energy has a vital importance for developing countries, especially green energy in the context of sustainable development, Kilittaşı is actively involved in this area. Because green energy is essential for a sustainable world, Kilittaşı provides engineering and consultancy services from feasibility studies to detailed final designs for small hydroelectric power plants. We also provide engineering services for the civil engineering component towind power and solar power projects. One of our main goals is to  transfer our expertise to these types of  projects abroad, both in developed and developing countries.

Turkey is located on one of the world’s most active fault lines, and our country has had to learn to live with this. As an engineering design company, a lot of responsibility has fallen to us in this area. We are involved in projects to strengthen existing infrastructures, such as hospital campuses in Istanbul.

Climate change has already  altered our environment, and these changes will likely become more dramatic in the future. Realizing the challenges associated of working in a changing environment, Kilittaşı strives to be a leader in incorporating the latest environmental technologies, and using them to solve pressing environmental problems.

Ersoz Erdogan, Company Director

Kilittaşı Company was founded by Ersoz Erdogan. He earned an undergradute degree in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1996. After working 6 year in various fields of civil engineering in Turkey and Turkmenistan, Mr. Erdogan went to the United States for Master’s degree in 2002. He received his MSc degree from the University of North Dakota (UND) in 2005. At UND, he studied finite element analysis, using the Abacus Program. After returning to Turkey, he worked as a Chief Engineer on structural projects. In 2008, he founded Kilittaşı.
